Amputee Cycling Adventures

In 2003, just 14 months after the amputation of his right leg below the knee, long distance endurance cyclist Daniel Sheret became one of the first amputees to cycle across America. Since then he has logged some 20,000 miles across 2 continents and 11 countries, bringing a message of hope and awareness the life does not end with limb loss. 2007 found Dan cycling some 4,100 miles solo across America becoming the only amputee to have crossed America twice. Please enjoy this site and the tales of his adventures.
